I'M LIFTING! I'M LIFTING!
It's a little exciting to be back at the gym. Having Travis there is great motivation - I work out harder than I might normally because I want to impress and amaze him with my focus, dedication, and strength. So far, the strength thing's not working out for me - a year ago, my trainer told me I was his strongest female client. I'm probably about half that now. Sigh. But it shouldn't take long to build back up - I build muscle almost as easily as I build fat.
This whole cell phone experience is horrifying. We finally got Travis set up as a new customer with his same phone number. These two things don't seem difficult, but apparently in the Sprint/Nextel universe, that setup requires Congressional approval. Now I just have to activate my new/old phone and transfer it under his account. Whee. (I do not qualify for the phone I want for any reasonable price, but a coworker has last year's model of the same phone that she was going to sell anyway...so I scored there.)
On that note...today I'm happy because I can download Avenue Q, Spamalot, and Wicked ringtones. Sprint's coming along.
Oh, and we auditioned for Scrooge The Musical at Moonlight last night. I've decided against one of the shows I was maybe going to do, and I haven't heard any more on the other, so I'm keeping my options open. In my usual style, I showed up extremely late on the second night, totally unprepared and still in my gym clothes. (It's nice to have a home base theatre where it pretty much doesn't matter.) When they called my name to sing, I was just walking in with my audition book - I selected "Someone Else's Story" off the cuff, did pretty well with it, and read once. I don't like reading for shows I'm not the least bit familiar with - I never have any idea what to do. Eh...we'll see.
The tiny tiny pitfall of the happy relationship - you'll pass up the bigger role in the show farther away for a smaller role elsewhere if he's going to do it too. We're so happy I could gag. Speaking of which...I have precious adorable pictures!

See! I'm a good mommy! I took my baby to the beach! (Where she lounged in the tent with me and seemed afraid to get her feet dirty. Priss.)

Jimmy and Jessi took turns dive-bombing each other with kites.

And here begins the usual round of Travyson photos. I was going to limit the number I posted, but I seem to recall David and Jeff clamoring for more photos of my guy shirtless, so I must oblige.

Gratuitous, ain't it?

This is my Happy Place.

I LOVE THIS PICTURE!!!!
