They're Dropping Like Flies!

We got the announcement that love has claimed another victim in the Bankruptcy Court. We recently lost Greg, one of my good buddies and a native Florida boy, to the Manhattan court. Wait, this is a sweet story - he went to his high school reunion a little over a year ago and his Senior Prom date was there. She'd married and divorced and had two children...they began flying back and forth visiting each other, and not long ago he popped the question. So 20 years later, Greg's marrying his high school sweetheart - tell me you don't melt a little. He's off to Jersey pretty much as we speak.

Now, my cohort Lisa, the one who was hired at the same time as me, is shipping out to Germany with her new husband, an Army man who just received his orders. They're around until November, but then off they go.

What does this all mean? I dunno...I just find it interesting that everyone's leaving at once. And who knows what lies around the bend?

Today I'm happy because I got called in a pinch. Unfortunately, it kind of looks like it's a bad time for pinching this girl.

My heart goes out to my good friend whose own heart is hurting right now.

And my grateful heart gives thanks to the one who keeps it safe.
