Wait, It Gets Better

I know we're America and all, but I don't think Congress has this kind of power...

Congress is considering extending Daylight Savings Time by two months as part of the new energy bill, according to a report.

"The more daylight we have, the less electricity we use." Rep. Ed Markey, Democrat, Massachusetts.

Okay, I get what they're trying to do here, but that really reads like they believe Congress has the power to generate daylight. All they're doing is changing the hours. The sun still does its thing, regardless of Congressional mandate.
