Doing The Math

Lists, lists, lists! I just finished making a list of all the MAC products I want to buy, broken down into colours and price (retail and discounted - discovered the glitter eyeliner and ain't no stopping me now). Now my OCD brain wants more lists. So here's one that may help me understand something.

February/March: Noises Off, Brooke/Vicky
June: Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Germaine
July/August: Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Jewel
October/November: Grease, Rizzo (crash/burn) and Snoopy!!! The Musical, Lucy Van Pelt
January/February: Man of La Mancha, Aldonza/Dulcinea

One committee and two tentatively scheduled side projects also in the works. And if I'd known that all the freaking La Mancha rehearsals were going to be cancelled, I would have gone ahead with 1940s Radio Hour, and I like to think I might have had the chance to play Ann. Though I may have been an understudy. Either way, would've gotten to work for Lindberg. (Insert muttered cursing rant here for pulling out of the auditions based on a schedule that I should have known was tentative at best.) So the fact that I essentially did six shows, gunning for seven, in eleven months, while working a full-time career-type job, may explain why I've been a bit of a crackhead lately. But DAMMIT it's fun!!! And let's not forget that there's wedding planning (fun), surgery (not fun but worth it), and ever-present cancer watch (just plain not fun) to insert into this year's mix.

And as a reminder, this time last year I was completely unsocialized and had not done ANY theatre in eight years. Now in the last eleven months, I've almost made up for all eight years.

I'm really starting to get over this blog. I post many times a day out of boredom, but then I feel guilty for all the multi-posts. ***sigh***
