Sorry For Being Difficult And Almost Wrecking Your Establishment

I love going places and doing stuff with Travis. I know you can't tell from reading my blog how much I enjoy our time together (bwah) but I just want to say that very clearly.

Last night we went to Brothers and Sisters BBQ on Vineland Road in Winter Garden just off Highway 50 (I never give precise locations unless I think it's worth the trip) and while backing into a parking spot directly in front of the front door, Travis jumped the curb and revved the truck onto a sidewalk.

Do you have any idea how difficult it is to walk into a restaurant when everyone there has just soiled themselves in fear that they were about to become victims of a freak truck-through-storefront accident?

The title was his statement after ordering an item that wasn't on the menu. I'm thinking of having it put on a couple of t-shirts to save us the time of having to apologize for our behaviour everywhere we go.

Still, the food was really good.

Today I'm happy because things seem to be looking up for Laura!

Oh, and I bought the Spamalot soundtrack last night. Lady of the Lake just jumped to the top of the list in roles I'd love to play someday. (Like this show could ever be performed by a community theatre - someday when the rights are available, Seaside could maybe attempt it...) Come on, can you listen to that show and NOT think of me as the divalicious Lady?

Regarding X-Box and Game Night: I SUCK at Halo. I was thrilled to be included in the manly hootenany that is Rolling Hills technicians invite-only Game Night, but I SUCK at Halo. I know that now. It is, however, kinda fun to watch. (And very scary to walk into something like that feeling like I should immediately apologize for being there. But the guys were very cool. And X-Box Live is the most amazing and brilliant invention ever.) As with all things at which I do not immediately succeed, expect that I will be spending a LOT of time playing this game until I'm good at it.

The contract is signed on the house - and she wants the furniture too. Ahh, sweet relief.
