**Shudder**

It is one thing for two people to say something at the same time, or for one to say something the other was thinking. But to say the same exact words at the same exact time, and with the same exact inflection, tone, and physical gestures...well, then it starts to get a little creepy.

But what fun!

I have photos to share of my new house eventually - the roof was not caving in, and we're assuming that I'll be able to find a way down the dirt road if it floods. But it's a GREAT place! Whee!! I live in the country now! (Or, rather, I will, hopefully...soonish...)

I had second thoughts briefly, but they quickly to a backseat to my competitive nature when Travis announced that if I wasn't taking it, he was. "NO! You can't have it! It's MY house!" Given the infrequency of my visits to the guest side of my current home, I'm guessing he could end up squatting in the guest room without my ever knowing. I'll come home one day and half the food will be gone, and that's how I'll know.

Okay, fully expecting to be crazy busy at work today...away I go.

I would love for people to come hang out all the time, but I can pretty much provide a written guarantee that NO ONE will EVER be willing to come over, other than Travis and his friends who live nearby. Directions from downtown: Take 408 to the Turnpike, 18 miles north to the 27/19 exit, 19 south for about five miles to Highway 50, 50 north for about three miles to Bay Lake Road, Bay Lake Road west for about five miles, left on a dirt road, about a quarter mile over some bumps, through some sugar sand and a shallow rut, and left at the break in the orange trees. (My street: hell on the Prius, GREAT for dirtbiking!) Travel time: about an hour.

But feel free to drop by anytime! We'll fish in the pond, climb trees, sit on the front porch and spit...

I would totally go...it would be like camping! so earthy and fun!

Oh, and I have names for the "saying things at the same time" thing, because it has happened many many many MANY manymanymany times to me.
They're almost exclusively used as adjectives, but occasionally as a noun. It's called either "sharing-a-brain" or "psychic-connection."
Like:
I just had this psychic-connection moment with [insert name here]; or, I can't believe we both just said that! That's so sharing-a-brain weird!
