Okay. Okay okay okay.
That's a "no" on Lend Me A Tenor. Obligatory nice comments about director and what a good friend he is and how much I adore him and understand choices as a director, all that. (And of COURSE I still love him!)
But SERIOUSLY, what is up with my freaking LUCK???
I cannot get a role in a show. I've even been let go from the one show I did manage to land.
I am not going to my Mad Cow audition. I am going to take some time and take stock and ... something.

Oh, Sweetums -
That's just icky pukey. I'm sorry. And they didn't check the conflicts before because....?
Anyway, something will come along. Bigger and better. Not even trying for Mad Cow? :(
But you gotta do what you gotta do and it takes a lot of guts to walk away from the theatre. I promise you as soon as you find a place and set a moving date, a dream-role will present itself and opening night will be your move day. It's almost a guarantee.
I agree with Binnie...
I've had my six-month (year-long) stretches with no luck, but at some point ... I guess if you feel it's not the right time to audition, then it's not the right time. But I hope you do...
Oh, no! I was so disappointed you decided not to audition for Mad Cow. I was so looking forward to seing you as Ms. Pennywise! Don't take a break until you go for that one. You may not be old enough but you would be awesome in that
part! Jan
