Practice Practice Practice!

Got the audition for Mad Cow over with. I did, as a matter of fact, fall flat on my face musically, but it could have gone worse. Luckily it was a callback audition - I may have a shot at a callback based on what I did, but thankfully I have a chance to recover and make another impression before casting decisions are made. We got "acquainted with the space" before the auditions began, which was a new one for me. There was a game called Zip Zap Zop that we all played to prepare - I'm not much of an actor, I guess, because I think I missed the point, at least partially, but it was entertaining. I did have a Zip Zap Zop nightmare last night, though.


Watching the news with Jason last night, Rod Johnson of News 13 again provided us with unspeakable joy - this guy is a Central Florida treasure. We watch a lot of Headline News, and nothing makes us happier than seeing Rod pop in for the local two minutes. His lip-biting charmer of a signoff is a TiVo rewind-worthy event.
