And...Scene.

Jason got into an accident today on his way home from picking up dinner after work - but he's okay! Not so much so with the car, but the takeout made it through unharmed as well. And anyone who knows me should know that as long as I have the fiance and the Thai food intact, we can make it through anything.

But the greatest thing ever happened to me while we were waiting for the tow truck. Allow me to set the scene.

Exterior. A man and woman stand at the side of Edgewater Road with a slightly rumpled Altima. A white Frito Lay truck stops at a stoplight nearby. The door slides open.

Driver: Miss!
Woman: Eh?
Driver: Are you in a play? In Eustis?
Woman: Eh?
Driver: I just saw a show in Eustis a few Fridays ago - was that you?
Woman: (to herself) Holy crap, I think this is the coolest thing that has ever happened to me. (to driver) Why yes! Did you enjoy it?
Driver: Yes! My wife and I went - a bunch of you went to the bar afterward, too! (laughs at the memory)
Woman: (remembers that Friday was one of their more idiotic outings to the bar, involving lots of singalongs and goofy dance maneuvers, laughs self-consciously)

(A brief conversation ensues regarding driver and woman's locations of employment and habitation - driver expresses regret for couple's vehicular situation, and exits as light turns green.)
