Party All The Time....

Remember that awful Eddie Murphy song? Good times.

I'm happy because I got to talk to Kris O. up in Jacksonville, one of my best friends who becomes long-lost and then found and then long-lost....but we always find each other.

Friday's show was sparse, but not bad. Blues (kind of) at Tanqueray's afterward, then off to John's to have a sobering discussion of life in the theatre. Kevin and I finally left when John stood up and offered coffee, the universal "get out of my house" flag.

Saturday's show was AWESOME!! Our audience was large and thought everything was funny. We had energy galore. Jessi and Jimmy came to see the show, which was wonderful, and so did my parents. Mom brought her pictures from the trip to Italy, and pictures of my garden gnome in Italy (she carted it all over with her - I'll get some pictures up.)

Michael and Madeline had a party at their house afterwards, even providing everyone's favorite drinks. (Nice touch!) We had a good time discussing the Fringe show Larry's writing for us and other sexy things. I'm still hoping Larry's only half-serious about the subject matter. No Kevin, though - guess he was not feeling well.

And now it's the last day, and I'm sad because even though I won't lose touch with any of these people any time soon, I do know that I won't be seeing them four days a week. These are good people.

I hate that post-show community slump. Same thing as post-graduation or even post-anything, even post-brunch sometimes. I know what it's like -- I wish you many cast reunions and projects in the future!
