I'm Getting A Draft From That Open Window
Well! The revolving door swings back into motion!
myspace.com officially effing ROCKS.
Figured I'd see who from my high school is on there - and I found some of my good friends who I'd just kind of lost touch with.
Laura G. was one of my total favourite people like, EVER. I have no idea how we stopped talking, we just kinda did somewhere in that shuffle of me changing schools about six times.
Amanda F., another one of my favourite people - total movie buff, uproariously funny, really pretty but not snotty about it at all, which she totally could have been. Great dancer, too, I remember.
The Cuba, a wacky theatre person like me, wannabe-Jim Carrey type but with a viable and great sense of humour, a little crazy but in a good way.
Dottie - man, Dottie! I totally didn't even recognize her from her picture, but she dropped me an email after finding me through Laura. Dottie's mom and my mom were friends back when we lived in Texas, when I was like eight, and by bizarre coincidence, they moved to the Stuart area too, when we were in high school. Her and Laura and I were pretty good buddies, sneaking cigarettes out by the retention pond somewhere near Martin Downs. Ahh, the good old days. It was so much easier to be "bad" back then!
What's crazy is, there's all these pictures of these people with other people from high school, which makes me feel like kind of a jerk for not keeping in touch. But I can try to make up for it now. Thanks, Tom!!
