Retail Therapy

Oh the guilt! Okay, not really. I hit Best Buy today and picked up a new TiVo, DVD player/recorder, and flat screen 27" TV to replace the living room combo unit (which sucks and has been shifted to the bedroom to replace the now-vacant media unit in there.) Best of all, I hit the Apple store and got a new toy for my iPod - an Altec Lansing dock and speaker station. Greatest thing EVER!!! It has a tiny remote, and big sound, and works off of batteries, so I can jam in the car or the theatre or peoples' houses...yay! (And yeah, the black one would have been real cool with my U2 iPod, but unfortunately they were sold out and I had money burning a hole in my pocket, so I had to go with the white.)

Today I'm happy because I think I figured out how to link that website up there all by myself without the help of PC shortcuts. (I'm not using all that stuff I bought as a happy because it would be too easy.)

I'm also happy because while I was at Best Buy, I was standing in front of about 80 TVs, all of which were playing motocross racing. Awesome.

AND I'm happy because Jessi and Jimmy came to the show last night, and they liked it (even though it was probably my worst show so far, from an acting standpoint), and then we went to Chili's where we ended up eating with Travis and his badass grandmother (dude, she ROCKS) and her friend. Definitely fun.

More misadventures at Bill and Tracy's tonight - looking forward to that for sure. Hopefully the show will be much better for me...I think I'm feeling it today.

To any Jacksonville readers - I cannot imagine your pain, but my heart goes out to you. Stay off the roads, be safe, and I hope they all go home soon.
