POLICE BRUTALITY!!!!!!

Today I am happy because I get to shriek the greatest line ever, for Snoopy, which is what we are doing now in place of Grease/A Christmas Carol. And we have 17 days to get up. Awesome!

I play Lucy, in a casting decision that will surprise NO ONE. I have fantastic lines, and I'm stoked, loving the part. It is sort of another one of those depressing "Oh, this annoying/despicable person is such a perfect role for you!" moments, like when people think I'm like Monica from Friends, who I hate...it's great to be pigeonholed so easily - but it's definitely better than "we don't know where to put her, so just don't put her anywhere". We read through it last night - the show's funny; the music's complex but easy, if that makes sense; and we now know where Sally came from in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. (I would have begged for the role of Sally if I'd known the coat hanger sculpture monologue came from Snoopy and was not created for Charlie Brown.)

Breaking La Mancha News: Sarah is Antonia, Cathy Mac is the Housekeeper, and Andrew is the Barber. Ooh, and today I am also happy that I hung around at the theatre after auditions on Monday, since a call came in to the director yesterday from a woman who might well have cut short my chances at the role I wanted.

Glad to hear you are happy about the Lucy part. I will be there to see the show sometime after Halloween but before it closes. Who told you about the woman who might have taken your role? Cause if the director told you..that's really...not right. Anyway..I am glad you got it and we are working together.
