New Happies!

I'm happy my parents moved out of Stuart just in time - their old neighbourhood sustained some heavy damage. I'm happy that my best friend in Port St. Lucie is okay and her house didn't have too much damage. I'm happy that her parents are okay and avoided disaster. I'll be happier when they have power, but for now I'm just glad everyone's okay.

I'm also happy that Whole Foods was open, and not only did they have everything I needed to restock, but a lot of it was on sale! (I know what you're thinking, but they're on the same power grid as the hospital, so no power outages - I didn't buy a bunch of spoiled food on sale.) And I bought fresh flowers so Frances would know she didn't get me down!!

This is the main road along the river that connects Port St. Lucie to Stuart - the road Jessi used to use to get to work every day, and the road where Conchy Joe's lies, now without a roof. Sigh.
