Something Seen, Something Heard?
Last night was the best show of 1940s Radio Hour to date! I wish I was in the cast on a night like that, but I'm very proud of them. And the spotlight operator was awesome, if I do say so myself! I ran spot instead of The Beast last night - Julia did well with the clock, except for the moment at the end of the show when, due to the unpredictable nature of the clock, the minute hand cut loose from its position at the hour and swung very suddenly, of a scene-stealing nature, backwards to the half hour. I would have loved if this was an improv show - then all the actors would have had to go back and start over from intermission.
Working a half day today, looking forward to running Christmas errands in the rain. I have made the decision to attempt purchasing most or all of the gifts I can't get online in small individual-owned shops rather than chain stores and malls. Might cost me a bit more, but it'll be worth it to me.
I really don't have much else to report, at least not here. Larry still makes me smile, Bob was at the show ushering and we talked shop for a while with regards to next season, Todd is still coolness personified, rehearsal for La Mancha is still ongoing (Eric reports he has the task of groping me during the abduction scene - that should be big piles of fun), Jeff still cracks me up, et cetera. Very few changes. Actually, even fewer changes than I had been thinking all along....
