Run Away!!!!

Today I'm happy, nay, thrilled because the cast of Spamalot is far better than I ever could have imagined. I must go to Chicago in December.

I got my first (and only, for a while) pair of Manolos! On sale! The ones I tried on months ago at full price and just couldn't possibly....huzzah!

I also picked up my crazy short red dress for my number, which I was feeling really good about until David got hold of it and made me realize that I was probably going to be drawing the wrong kind of attention. Now I may need to purchase another dress...we'll see what happens during dress rehearsal. At least it's hot enough to wear out dancing or something - as if I ever do that.

Our music director is back, which is outstanding. Some of us hit the bars (and counted stars until the dawn?) last night after rehearsal, and found out that the little bar tucked back behind the ice cream parlor across the street from the theatre ain't half bad - and they have karaoke tonight! Oh, bring it ON!
